    you can if you are a vendor, but not an affiliate.

      ClickBank had to stop sending out 'You've made a sale' emails to affiliates because it used to generate too many spam complaints.

      It's easy to complain about ClickBank, but we sometimes forget that they also have a lot of idiots out there to contend with!

        Then they should have just closed the accounts of those who complained, rather than stop sending the emails, which could easily be made optional.

        Or were you joking? Someone would have to be an idiot to complain about such an email.

          Look, let's be reasonable here

          I'll be working away when suddenly I get a darned Email

          == Congratulations. You have made a sale !
          == You have earned commission of $75

          What a time waster.

          I have to stop what I am doing and then do two things
          1) I have to read the email
          2) I have to delete it

          Sometimes I get 30 of these in one day.
          I estimate that it chops a good 5 minutes off of my
          working day and for what ?

          A petty $2000 or so.

          Nothing else bothers me

          * Spam - I can handle

          * Viruses - I can cope with

          * If my hard disc crashes, I just go out and buy another PC

          * If Google bans all my blackhat pages I'll try another method

          But it's THIS - the incessant flood of commission
          notifications - that really gets me down.

          If you find I've suddenly quit the internet marketing
          scene you'll know what drove me to do it.

          I'm not joking. According to ClickBank when they came to London to have a user's conference the spam complaints became a big problem for them. They were concerned about being blacklisted and not being able to get even more important emails through.

          As I said, there are a lot of idiots around who will cry spam at the drop of a hat. Not Warriors, naturally.

    Then why do they still send emails to vendors?

    And why are so many other affiliate programs able to provide these notices?
