I have written several articles (23 so far) and am starting to get them published. I keep reading about RSS feeds.

Can anyone give me a really simple explanation about RSS feeds and how I can use them with my articles.

I assume you are using Ezine articles as most people seem to.

If you go to your profile page you will see it has an RSS feed. This contains a summary of all your articles including back-links to each of your articles.

Take that RSS feed and give it to as many RSS aggregators as you can, as each aggregator that publishes your feed will provide a back-link to all of your articles.

The big benefit of doing this is that as you write new articles, these RSS syndicated pages will update to back-link your new articles as well.

RSS = Really Simple Syndication, and it is just a feed of the content shown on the page/website.

I go to Fiverr.com and pay someone $5 to submit the RSS feed to about 80 aggregators, but that's just me.

I haven't needed to do this for awhile though, so don't remember the Fiverr members link. Use the search function and you will find them. Or alternatively you could use Google and some determination.

I am sorry to sound dumb but perhaps I am when it comes to this. Basically, I have 20 odd articles, how do I create the RSS feed to submit

Are you posting them on your website or an article directory?

Have a look at FeedBurner (owned by Google) if you have the time. It can really push your ordinary RSS feeds to a whole new level

It's a Weebly site, eek! You don't seem to have an RSS feed which is probably because it's Weebly based.

You can build one by using http://rss.icerocket.com/login as this allows you to manually add pages as links within an icerocket hosted feed. That will work just as well.

Look at your author profiles on whichever article directory you used? They will definitely have RSS feeds, and you can also use Icerocket to mash feeds together, leaving you with only one to promote.

I think of RSS feeds as mobile websites! All your site text content is in the RSS feed which you can send around the internet, like a mobile web-site!

It's simple to do just submit your mobile web-site(RSS feed) address to RSS directories.
