Hey warriors,

I have been using Clickbank for quite a while now, however I have never seen this before..

Here is the picture:

Does this mean I made a sale? And what is the Sale-RB mean? I have been using Clickbank for a year now, but never came across this before.

Thanks for your help!

Recurring bills is what I think RB stands for. In other words, if the person does not cancel, you shall keep receiving commissions every time this customer is billed. The amount shown there is zero in your case, which means that the initial payment that your customer made is zero (maybe some sort of free trial).

It's not a sale but it could turn in to a sale if they don't cancel their free trial.

If FredJones is right I think that's what's happening here.

Yeah it looks like the type of product where they get the first month or so free then start paying every month after that.

So if they don't cancel their membership you will keep getting paid every month for that sale.

I don't really care who the names are either, I just noticed that they were no longer there.

I don't think it's because people haven't entered their name, in my account there is now no names where there once were names - if that makes sense

Doesn't really matter anyway, I was just noticing and curious as to why they removed them

    • I heard that recently CB doesn't display the customers email anymore to affiliates because some misued it to spam them. Maybe the next step was to remove the customers names as well? Afaik, only vendors can see the email addresses.

The bad news is, that until you get five more sign ups that don't use paypal and use different credit cards, you will not get paid. They will hold your money.

Clickbank needs to reduce this number. Better yet, get rid of it.

I think it has to do with Recurring bills, but you could send a mail to Clickbank support to advice you.

Yah .. Looks like a free trial that will be on reoccuring commission if they stay on.

CB has also changed their policies and no longer show customer contact details. Somthing to do with privacy I think
