WSO posting price increased to $40?

Since when?

Gosh, just when I started to think about doing my first ever WSO...

Is this a good or a bad sign?

I'll take that as a good one.

For $20, everyone and their dog will post a WSO and bump 1000 times in a day.

For $40, that MIGHT weed out some real spammers who is not really giving any real value to their buyers?

I don't know.

What's your thought about this?

I agree, if anyone has any real value to add with their WSO, and has actually made some money with the methods they teach in it, they should be able to afford the $40 it costs to post it and bump it.

Kenny I see your point, but not everybody is posting a money making method. I post PLR templates/graphic etc and when I pay my $40 for a new WSO that I spent a few days working on and have made no money from yet, I still wonder if my WSO is going to bomb and leave me $40 lesser off. $20 hurt less

You could always post under the warrior classified ads section in the appropriate category - that section is still $20.

        Hope it helps!

Where have you been, Aiden? LOL...this has been in effect for almost 2 months now, if I'm not mistaken.

The WSOs are staying on page 1 and 2 longer now, and overall consensus is that it's working better, and gives people more bang for the buck as long as their offers are high quality ones.

I know exactly what you mean, Kenny. The $40 fee now feels so normal we don't even give it a second thought anymore.

Paul, I shy out from the WF for quite a while, dedicating my time to learn about product launch, and then this $40 hit me on my face! lol!

Well then if that's the case like what you were describing, I don't mind even if it hits the $100 mark.

      Thanks for stopping by, Paul!

I would think that the spammers make money on their WSO's... if they are good at it. I wouldn't be surprised if the quality of WSO's stay the same, even though the price is higher.

LOL this made me laugh - price went up a couple of months ago and there were a few threads going round about it then

I think there is still a lot of 'junk' offers on there - as long as they are making profit with them they will still pay the $40 fee.

Sheryl, LOL! I was out of the WF to learn about product launch so I guess I totally missed that out

I think the overall consensus is that the price hike to $40 was a good move, though I remember how heated the discussions got in those threads when the price increase was instituted initially!

I do find that, since the price increase, WSOs stay on page 1 for longer.

The price change can be a bit off-putting for those that are still yet to post their first WSO. On the WSO forum, a lot of people sell cheap reports or even give them away, so that they can build a list and start building up a reputation. This now seems like a more expensive task than before, but WSOs don't get pushed down quite as quickly as before, and therefore you're getting more viewers.

Also, a few tweaks to your WSOs can result in you getting more money back, such as maybe slightly increasing your prices from what you had originally intended, and researching on how you can create higher converting sales copy.

As you haven't posted a WSO yet, I suppose you don't really know what will work well for you and what won't. But just don't be afraid to try.

Yeah, read it and weep... Inflation is across the board now. This will hurt smaller vendors, but the big ones stay in the game. It is getting harder to turn a profit these days, but we can wish for a recovery. What I have seen is a decline in the purchase of items that are not absolutely necessary.

I am sure there are better ways other than just sitting down there and wait for people to find out about our WSO

I don't think we should just launch and sit and wait for the money to come in, WSO is harder in these days, so people have to work harder to get people's eyeball onto their WSO...

      It's actually a good one....

I don't just sit and wait, as mentioned. I try my best to make sure I get the marketing strategies done even before my product is out.

This is what I am going to test for sure

There are many ways other than just launching it, waiting for people to buy, waiting for the WSO to drop and then bumping it again.

I am sure that would be the way I would do it in the old days, but I am not going to just sit and wait if I were to launch it nowadays.

Let's see what I can do for my first ever coming soon product

Thanks for your words, Ashley Cooper!

There's nothing wrong with the price going up though, if you have something valuable to sell, I'm sure you'll get your return on investment pretty fast.
Something valuable to sell... to the right market

No guarantees in love, war or WSOs. When I post my first WSO, I know it will be a thing of value for those who like what we offer.

It's an investment of time, effort and money on our part. If the WSO does not increase optins, sales, or whatever our call to action might be, well, that's just part of the process. Back to the drawing board. Nobody wants to spend 40 bucks and not see the returns we hope for. I've spent money before and saw nothing for my efforts. But, I found out what did NOT work.

    Make it $400.

Hey if your WSO can make everybody "$1000.00 a week with ease" yada yada.

Then you're clearly doing very well and can afford $400, or you're talking BS.

    Which is it..?

Ditch the dozens of medicore, rehashed pap in there and let the people selling quality not have to fight with the dross, more sales for the good stuff, none for the bad.

Simon! Hi! Been a long time since our last chat...

Yes, totally agree with you man....

You see, there are too many "me-too" kind of WSOs and we have to WADE THROUGH the bushes to get the real gems, like what you've mentioned before.

Seriously, it's even better if it's in the $100-$200 or even like the $400 price range like what you've suggested.

      Lesser noise... better choices...

      Thanks for stopping by Simon!

This is sort of ironic last year I suggested that perhaps increasing the price for WSO would improve the offers being presented, I was lambasted and piled on by loads of fellow warriors, who basically said how dare I suggest such a thing, they were like a lynch mob, in fact had it been the wild wild west I would have been hung in the nearest tree.

Funny how now its ok, sort of makes me smile knowing I was right all along.

    Cheers,

Next thing you'll see, Simon's suggestion up there (price increase to $400) would become a reality!

I think they can do it the other way round, INCREASE THE VALUE of their product, price remain the same, or go higher... the burden shouldn't be on the buyers' side.

Increase the price to at least $200.

If you could make a "Earn $5000000000000000 in 1 day" Product, surely you could afford the $200 WSO fee...
