Full time article writer vs Auto Blog

Hey Warriors

As some of you may know I am in the process of revamping all my sites to start and increase traffic and have some consistent followers. My question is do you think that its best to maybe hire a full-time article writer to write articles on my sites or keep the auto blog plug in and try and fine tune it. The reason im considering this is for some reason my rss feeds are FAR off topic of my site all of a sudden which is crazy because they are from sites that have to do with my exact niche as well. Any ideas?

It's a cost thing. Hiring a writer is expensive - even a cheap writer will charge you several dollars per article. A good autoblogging solution will cost no more than cents, and there are even free plugins out there (although you really do get what you pay for - after all, what would you pay your writer to cut and paste duplicate content onto your site? I'm guessing not a lot).

So ultimately, the choice is yours - what do you want to spend, and how much maintenance do you want to put in?

I would vote for REAL content any day over autoblog content if you want to get bigger traffic.

Let's say you want 2 posts per day on a topic.
Let's say a candidate who works full time can do about 8 blog posts per day (one hour each including breaks, etc).

This means one person could support 4 blogs.
This means if you were paying $300 (typical) your cost is $75/month per blog.
Can you make that much from each blog?
Shut down (or go back to auto blog) for those where the profit is too little?
Expand the ones that really do well with a dedicated writer?
Or experiment with posting only once per day (half the cost)

I would not hire writers to produce content on an auto-blog. Auto-blogs tend to be high risk and may get banned by Google at some point, so I would not put paid content there unless you really know what you are doing and are very certain Google won't punish you (and just because Google has not banned your site yet does not make it unlikely).

That said if I was starting a new site I would choose REAL content over autocontent any day. Your ability to compete with auto-content is just your ability to manipulate Google or some other traffic source.

With real content you have something that can really be a competitive advantage and set you apart from others.

When I hear autoblog I always think about plastic fruit , it looks good but offers no real value .... I may not have enough experience with it, but I can't see how this would offer people visiting the site any value.

Having said that often writers just write for word count and keywords which also offers little or no value.

Autoblog is trash and Google is clamping down on people who continue this form of blogging. Get out of it and start yourself an actual blog

Like what I've posted in another thread, I'd choose real content writing over autoblog any time of the day. You don't even have to hire anyone to write for you. If you can post relevant comments in this forum, I don't see why you can't write articles (or least try to.) If it comes down to these two options, I'd go for hiring a writer.

    It's kind of like Death..

It's coming to us all soon... its just a matter of time

The same applies with autoblogging trash

Now dont get me wrong essentially wordpress lets you line up posts so that is autoblogging but im guessing your referring to the autoblogging tools which scrap in crap from rss feeds that are on other peoples websites and displays them on yours

    1. People dont like it, and they will will get your site shutdown
    2. Google is clamping down, closing adsense accounts and giving people a royal ass kicking to the depths of google ghost town

So here is what I think

    1. If you want a site to last.. Go with a real content developer
    2. If you want to play the game, tester waters and see if you can outrun, outthink and outsmart google then go ahead with autoblogging

Im not saying autoblogging is wrong. hey I spin the odd page here and there and use those tools but im saying times are changing bud
