I'm looking for advice to improve my website niche (Forex)

Hi everyone, although I'm more of a quiet member, I have been here for a while looking around, reading and learning. I launched my website: Forex and Stocks Trading by the end of July 2010. But initially it was really bad, design was not good, was not SEO Friendly at all, etc, by August I did a huge change and started promoting it more, design improved a lot and my code is a lot cleaner now and better optimized for SEO, although I will still be missing a proper SEO improvement there.

I'm a Web developer and a programmer, so I created this product from my experience Forex Predictor, that I'm promoting and selling through the website, that is the way I'm monetizing it.

I have not that much sales through the website, but a lot of people come to see and read about it before buying it somewhere else.

I will really appreciate any feedback and/or comment you have, and any tips and advice will be greatly appreciated!.

Thanks,

George

I looked at it and it is quite impressive IMO.

Maybe you can try to push the images of the forex indicator products a little bit upwards so that it will attract attention the moment someone visit your site. Then you place the signing up column beneath the images. I don't know it is just my opinion. Thanks

The Gazette Edition theme is certainly very attractive. It looks like you've put a lot of work into it. But you don't see the sales page until you click on the graphic. I think most people are looking for information.... they don't surf the Internet looking for stuff to buy. It's an impulse decision, and you've got way too much information and other things to click on (of interest) other than your product.

I think you want the sales page to be the first thing they see when they go to forex-and-stocks.com. If they don't get on your list or buy.... you don't really need these people chewing up your bandwidth surfing your site.

The actual sales letter looks pretty good. But most people don't buy the first time they are exposed to your offer, so I would consider moving the free gift sign-up box up close to the top of the page, so you can follow up with subscribers and give you the opportunity to prove your product can help them.

Thanks!, yes the Product was at the very top, I added those 2 new boxes to the top last week, I think I will change the order they are again.

Information is mainly for SEO purposes, I though I could get more people to read and buy, and that posting things like that people will get more confidence about the site, seeing it is being updated constantly and is not like a dead thing (an old software with no support, etc).

The free gift sign-up box I added there because I didn't like the idea of having the user kicked out from the site before they read all the sales letter, hoping they will have that impulse to buy at some point, and so I added it at the very bottom like saying oh well, if you are here you are probably not interested right now. Where do you think would be a good idea to put that? in the middle of the sales page more or less?.

I have collected a few leads so far, not much really I guess it is because of the box being at the very bottom as well, I haven't send them anything yet, not quite sure of what to send, since the idea is to get them to buy my product at some time. Maybe do a Free trial offer with a paypal subscription and charge them after 7 or 14 days after they got subscribed?

Thanks for reading and for the advice Qamar and Steve!.
