    Like it says, many websites around the world are spamming Google News. It's only a matter of time before they are ousted.

    There's a lot of sites that got in that do that. That one will be deindexed pretty quickly and they review the sites when complaints are made.

    They've actually been delisting many lately due to spamming.

    Congrats, Suzanne! I wonder...in terms of adsense profitablity, does it matter what type of site you have indexed in Google News? I'm a former reporter, writing is my thing, so I know that I could produce a really well written site. I wouldn't want to do it on the usual high paying adsense niches like DUI attorneys or debt consolidation - I'm thinking of featuring something like health or exercise.

      Yes, it matters a lot. From my experience with Adsense and from what I've learned about other niches, the Financial niche is very high paying and Paris Hilton/Lindsay Lohan (ha ha), the Entertainment niche is very low. Technology falls in the high middle.

      I like tech and would be hard pressed to write financial news. There are a lot of other ways to monetize them as well. Yesterday I wrote two small articles and got 2,700 visitors by the end of the day. This blog was getting about 13 visitors per day before approval.

      E Brian Rose has an excellent course on exactly how to do it with some monetization tips that I would have never thought of. I don't think he has a link in his sig for it, but you can contact him if you're interested in his course.
