WEB O.S.: The future of social marketing, and applications.

Ralf Skirr made a very interesting post in my "2012" Thread. I'd like to discuss this further and get some other people involved on the topic.

Personally this is very interesting to me, as a programmer. I've noticed this trend as well. As a group I think we can get some more advanced ideas out. I'm curious how far warriors will take such an idea.

I'd like to explore niche application marketing, and other areas as well.

It is well known that the O.S. as we know it is dying, and that everything new will eventually be online, giving way for the WEB O.S.

Web O.S. isn't a new concept, but recent advancements are bringing it to us at a rapid pace.

How are Warriors going to take advantage of this? Other than niche "dog walking" applications, if you get what I mean.

"One of the best online money making chances ahead:

Online applications will replace software installed on your computer. These applications will be sold as subscriptions.

While you wouldn't want to compete with Microsoft and Google to offer word or spreadsheet applications, there are tons of opportunities for applications that the large companies aren't interested in.

Think niche software applications online.

P.S. You don't need to be a programmer to profit from that. You can outsource the programming and focus on the marketing."

    Hi Ralf,

I agree with you about some of the big changes happening online. People are prone to look for fast, easy solutions both as consumers and businesses. The reality is though, that with all of the information available through the internet, many of the consumers are simply making purchases based on referrals.
