Software for press release site?

Hello all,

I want to put together a press release site. Does anyone have experience with this and is there software or scripts available to do this?

There is one software package on clickbank I found, but would like to know if anyone has tried it.

    I have made one press release submission website for myself: Online News Service
    It is based on joomla. you can also try wordpress but I went for joomla as it has lots of components and can be programmed in required. Also both are free and opensource and will install on any php based low-cost web hosting.
