Rank Tracking Software and Google Analytics

I use Google Analytics to monitor my site stats and I noticed that when I'm signed in to my GA account, I get different search results when searching for my site rankings than I would if I weren't signed in.

I noticed that the real reslut was when I wasn't signed in.

I was wondering if the same applied when I was using a Rank Tracking Software?

    Google moves in mysterious ways.

I would trust a rank tracking software. They do not have a vested interest in your search rankings (generally speaking).

I suggest this program: Rank Checker - Track Google, Yahoo! Search, & Bing Rankings Free

When you are logged in, you get personal search results. this is why you are seeing different results when you search when logged in, and logged out.

I would highly recommend you log out of google before you do your rack tracking, esp if it's a plugin to your browser (it might use your cookies - so personal search results).
