Building viral real estate?

I have read many threads on here recently where people talk about building sites, multiple sites, and most of them bring in "at least $1.00 per day." So my question is this: should I wait till my one site starts making at least $1.00 per day before I move on to the next site; or should I build the site and move on?

Just curious what works the best. My site is a reveiw site; reviewing 3 products; I've got articles on ezine (only 4) and associated content (same 4) and right now I'm only getting 5-10 uniques per day which, so far, has landed me not one red cent.

So, what would you suggest? Move on to the next site, and let this site age, or continue writing and posting?

Thanks for the insight!

From what I've gathered the key to VRE is building exact match domains that target a certain keyword which is both low competition and high traffic (at least 3,000 EMS). Therefore it's all about natural, organic traffic and not article marketing.

Are you trying to rank your site for a particular set of keywords or just writing articles and submitting them hoping to rank those?

Cash cow==> I have a keyword rich domain (although not exact match) which is broad. On that domain I have a WP blog installed that has 3 pages, each with a 600-1000 word review of the products (long tail keyword = product names getting 400-1200 search per month).

I'm hoping to rank for the product names that are contained on each of those three pages.

Ok, well in that case, I would continue to backlink those until they get to #1.

But you need to diversify the backlinks - dont just keep linking to them from the same article directories.

It seems to me that can take a couple of weeks to see the fruits of your backlinking efforts so you might want to setup a schedule of backlinking interspersed with working on your next domain.

      Just my 2 cents.

Continue on with what you're doing until you get the long tail keywords ranked. Are you backlinking? I've noticed lots of marketers trying to skip the backlinking phase and it's just not a good idea.

Go to some related blogs and toss down backlinks - it only takes a little while and it's the biggest boost to your SEO that you'll find.

I started four sites 2 days ago and all four are in the top 3 slots for their keywords. I haven't posted a single article, all I've done is backlinking, and lots of it.

Edit: Noticed that Lee posted right before I did, about backlinking also. Nice

Thanks Kevin and Lee. I actually just purchased a press release over in the special offers section and also have been tweeting on Twitter. I set up about 6 blog profiles but have yet to comment on any of them...will go back and work on that.

    Thanks again....

    Any other comments?

The best you can do for your jumpstart is to find a warrior from here who is already doing it , I mean making one dollar per day and also offering his services to build for you. Ask him for one or two sites to build for you and see the results if you like what you see and you have money order more from him. Try to learn from his built website and study what theme he used, how he formatted the page, what plugins he used etc. and you are on your way to your desired journey of VRE sites.

    Cheers
