Does ezinearticles take spun articles?

I know that having an article to your site first and adding it to ezinearticles as well is fine. But if you have an article to your site first and spin it 40%-60% and add it to ezinearticles will they take it then? Or do they want the same article from your site? Thanks.

I don't truly know the answer to that - but why not just submit the article from your site?

I doubt that they would accept a further, spun, copy - so why the need to spin it in the first place?

The official policy of Ezinearticles is that they don't want spun articles. If they find you are submitting a spun article, they may not accept the article.

With that said, a spun article that is mostly unique might still get accepted. If I were you, I would stay away from submitting too many spun articles there. Save the spun articles for other directories, and point the spun articles back to your article at Ezine and your blogs.

EDIT: As someone else just stated, you can submit the same article from your website to Ezinearticles. Make sure the article on your website is already indexed in the search engines before submitting it to Ezinearticles.

That's almost exactly what I originally typed - then hesitated as I wondered if the fact that you were spinning your own, original, article might make a difference!

So ezinearticles would rather have the same article over an article that is 40%-60% different? If the original is only on my site why would they want the same one over a slightly different one?

For example I wanted to have an article about playing guitar where my keyword was: "learn how to play guitar" I have the original article on my site but I wanted the spun one to link back to my site using the same keywords "learn how to play guitar" Having 100% the same article will increase my bounce rate over one that is somewhat different.

So basically I do not understand why they would want an article that 100% the same over a spun one whose original only appears on my site. What is their logic behind this? Thanks.

The logic behind it is, probably, that they minute they gave an inch of leeway there would be people trying to game the system.

They have a reputation that has taken them a long time to develop. WOuld you do something that damaged your own brand?

WHen you go fetch an article from eza to post in your site you know it is 100% original, vetted content.

How many articles would you take form a directory that accepts any rehashed stuff, not vetted and only interested in making money no matter what?

Sometimes it is good to try and see things from the perspective of the others. Not only it allows you to understand them, it can also help find new ideas or new approaches.

            Just my 2 cents.

Dean, the main reason EZA is so adamant about not accepting spun articles is that so many of them are unreadable gibberish or worse.

One thing to consider is why EZA exists in the first place. And it's not to drive traffic to your site with spun articles. The original purpose was and is to provide website publishers, newsletter publishers and such with quality content in return for allowing the author to have links and exposure via the resource box.

Ever since the bum marketing and link building craze started, SEO types have been trying to *******ize that purpose and turn it into a link farm.

On top of that, accepting some spun articles and rejecting others would devolve into a nightmare of "why reject mine and accept his" whining. So they just say "we don't accept spun articles." For that matter, they don't accept 100% original and unique articles about spinning and spinners, either.

Given what you are trying to accomplish, I'd say this...

Go ahead and spin the article. Before you submit it, though, read it. If you really, honestly can't tell it's been spun, submit it. If it's iffy, don't.

EZA is much more concerned with the quality of your article than it is about some arbitrary measure of uniqueness.

Never got any of my spun articles accepted. They are usually 30-40% unique. I think if you get up to 50-60% unique then they would accept it.

They will accept articles that come directly from your site. Just make sure they get indexed on your site first.

Don't bother trying to spin the articles and then submit them to EZA, you'll just be wasting your time.

If the content is unique enough they will. I have had clients get accepted there with spun articles. Now having said that, I usually submit an original and then once it is accepted spin it and submit it to others, which always gets accepted.

    The key is deep spinning.

    No,...

They won't even except articles encouraging the spinning of articles for submission purposes.

When I was last using EZA a few months ago, they wanted unique content. So if you spin it enough to make it unique to them, then it would probably be accepted.

They are sticklers for quality though, so you'll probably have a tough time with submitting spun articles to them.

Ezine is very strict on their submissions now. I've had 3 denied in the past week which is very unusual... Probably not going to accept a spun article unless it reads nearly perfect

I think spinning of articles is a fairly vague term.

To some people, it just means replacing words with other words from a thesaurus. To other people, it may mean rewriting the article completely but still retaining the same basic information.

Personally, I do spin my own articles or PLR articles, but I do them manually and completely rewrite them. If you break each article down into individual sentences or paragraphs and then rewrite all of them, you will end up with completely unique articles. These articles will make it into ezine and other article directories, because they're not the typical, crappy kind of spun article. I wouldn't even really call this a spun article anymore, but then again it goes back to the different interpretations of what article spinning really is.

If you can tell it is spun, it is a bad job. Ezines accepts articles.
