I have no experience marketing... but, if I wrote a book, could I make money from someone selling it

Asalamu Alaikum (peace be with you) dear Warrior Brothers and Sisters!

I'm new to internet marketing, but I have a background in creative writing and graphic design.

I am also a student of knowledge - always have been, so over the years I've managed to gain a good knowledge on several subjects, to which I have personally learn't, mastered and implemented into my own life.

Over the course of the last few months, out of sheer curiousity, I began to research and deconstruct online marketers websites and blogs to find out how they made money - which brought to me wanting to do it myself, and joining this forum.

I already have a plan of creating a popular blog and using on-topic CPA and Affiliate products as a way of making money.

And I'm in the process of setting that all up now.

However - there seems to be alot of money to be made from writing and selling eBooks.

I believe I have the knowledge to solve many different problems, and I believe there is a market for my knowledge - and I have no doubt I can write a great product which really delivers, and I can even create the MiniSite and eCover designs for it. (Most likely the Sales Page aswell from what I've seen, researched and de-constructed of them).

However my problem is:
I have no idea how to market the product, or drive traffic to the product, or set up a way of letting others market it for me.

So my question is:
If I was to create a product on let's say: "Weight Loss" or "Strength Training" or "MiniSite Creation" or "How To Quickly Master Any Subject" then is there a way of getting other people to do the marketing and selling for me - where all I would do is create a product, then somebody (here) would take a look at the product, set up a website for me, sell the product, and we go half's on the profits?

    I think the easiest way is to team up with a fellow marketer who's willing to market your product, there is a JV area here in warrior forum where you can look for an interested partner.

      How would a joint venture such as this work out? Generally waht are the terms.. For example.... I have a product ready to rock and roll but I need to get it front of as many people as possible in the next week. Ideal target would be coupon sites, shopping sites and electronics review sites. The ideal JV would be someone who has sites such as these with significant traffic and can put a banner up on their site. I am getting the product approved through CB as we speak. How does a JV vary from CB Affiliates?

    I believe there is a market for my knowledge...
    That's not enough. I mean even if you believe so, the very first thing should be to research that market to see if there is a hungry (= ready-to-buy) market. If there is no market for it you cannot sell even the world's most fantastic product

    You could team up with someone here on the WF, or hire someone to do all of the work for a one-time fee, that way once it is all set up you could keep all of the profit.

    You can also set up an affiliate program so that you don't have to do any work driving traffic to it.

    What you're looking for is called affiliate marketing. You set up the website, others drive the traffic and get you the sales, and you split the profits.

    Warrior forum has a sub forum just for that called 'joint ventures'. Try it, it works.

    i agree. research is very important in making a business work. you have to find the best market where you can promote your product. after that, you can start promoting it through affiliates, article marketing, social marketing and other means. all of them would work together to promote your business fro success.
