How to get my articles approved ?

Dear Warriors,

I'm having a problem with my articles approval on sites like Ezinearticles. After revising them with the excellent writing and grammar checker software (Whitesmoke), it seems that there are some punctuation and other sentence errors that I can't figure out by myself and the software

Any suggestions ?

I once had a perfect article reject with a grammar message and after a couple of attempts I established it had been rejecting because of a spacing issue (from memory I think it had a 14pt space somewhere instead of a 12pt one) so check for other little things that might be causing a rejection.

Grammar checkers aren't the best - there are a lot of things they don't pick up on, and occasionally, they're just incorrect. If you just have one or two articles you're welcome to send them to me and I'll check them for you for free.

Have someone else proofread your articles for you. If everything looks good, you can email Ezine Articles' support department and ask for help getting your article approved.

Ezine is really articulate and so strict in approving articles. It best to have your article being thoroughly checked line by line. If you have any queries about restrictions, refer it to their terms and policy page.

Ezine articles is not really that strict. The quality of articles there are good and it should be easy to get accepted. I think I had one rejection - I was talking about the demography of one of my site's members and mentioned the site name for accuracy in the article (not a link, just the name). They asked me to take it out and it was instantly approved after that (the html links were in the sig).

If you are not fluent with English, then I would suggest hiring some western writers to create content for you (after all, you are investing in a business). A poorly written article is a waste of time - it simply won't convert.

Only long term practice will bring your skills up to the required standard. Focus on items in your business that does not require fluent English (keyword research etc) and outsource your weaker points.

As for teaching yourself grammar, grab a copy of an english newspaper online and copy out an article once a day. Note in your mind as you are writing it how you would have written it instead.

Copying from English newspaper doesn't work. I've seen lots of newspapers with grammar errors and other construction errors. Even many famous authors have numerous errors, but it doesn't stop them from selling their books.

Try looking up grammar girl. I think she does a good job with explaining minor differences between words.

Check that your sentence has a verb, and is not run on.

I could go on and on. If submitting articles to an article directory is problematic due to poor grammar, then just submit to web 2.0 sites and others that aren't so strict.

The lesson is not copying as a way of teaching. It is a lesson of repitition to train the brain to think differently.

Just for fun, I went over there and picked a random article that was on the front page just "recently" approved list.

I won't post the dang thing, but it was full of errors, misspelled words, etc.

I can't believe that a real editor actually even read it. If that was an example of a read and approved article, the standards are pretty tame.

          Baffling.

Ezine article is very strict and if they can detect duplicate content, they will not approved it.

      Actually, no.

They freely make available a WP plugin where you can post your WP articles direclty into EZA. They encourage you to duplicate your own content.

What they object to is finding a copy of the article you submitted elsewhere on the web that does not carry your author credit. Basically, this is to stop you from spamming their service with PLR or stealing other people's content.

they have tons of editors with different standards.

sometimes all it takes is a resubmit with no changes and your article will be accepted. works for me all the time.

I'm surprised to read all these comments about EZINE. I resubmitted my article for about 3 times after changing some of the sentences and punctations and unfortantely they still didn't approve it.

    Will give it another shoot

I do had faced this problem many times, but can't do anything except correcting that. Ezine has many hard and fast rules which are mandatory to follow.

Check whether the content is a duplicate or not and submit to other article directories if ezine didnt approve your article

I don't face any such problem with ezine. I write very simple english and get published. May be you are not using a correct grammar. If you write original and quality content then you are always published by ezine.

    Wadboram,

Try sending the support team a question. When I was stuck, they came through with an answer for the problem.
