Over-run With SPAM Emails!

Hi, I am feeling very frustrated at the moment- I seem to be experiencing a Spam rush on my main email account. Every time I log on I haver to delete loads of these messages- nearly always from a Yahoo account and usually just containing one line of text with a link for Viagra or whatever.

I made the mistake of replying to one (with an obscenity!) with the result that I am receiving a load of them with 'Re' in the title. Now I am not opening any but clicking on 'report spam'.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to get rid of it, or should I be doing anything else to report it? I would be very grateful for any ideas as it is really doing my head in!! Thanks a lot.

I just make sure I never open suspicious looking emails and send them to my junk mail. It seems to work well for me. Some spam gets through but it is reduced and all I have to do is keep marking it as "junk".

it's a little late now but you should have multiple email accounts. Personal, business, optin-spam etc... it'll keep your email universe tidy.

I have a business email address, which gets a lot of spam, but, I have managed to filter it out, I use a rule to send to junkmail if it contains certain words.
