Advise needed: affiliate for Amazon products

I just realized that you need a website to promote Amazon products. What kind a website would you recommend for a beginner. Can I use a blogging site to begin with or should I go for a free hosting /free subdomain site with a possibility to upgrade later on?

    you can use a free one if you like. i got my account set up with twitter account. I guess you can create a hubpage or suidoo lens and use that to sign up and when you are ready to go at it full time you can get a self hosted WP blog.

    I will suggest to buy a suitable domain and install Wordpress on it. After that review Amazon products one by one on your site. You will get benefited. Some will suggest to build you a Amazon review website with the help of website builder but I think that will not work. It is better to use Wordpress platform for creating a website.

    I think it's a good idea to take the plunge and get a hosting plan for just a few dollars a month. If you are serious about making money online, then I think that you should just do it.

      Thanks for all who gave their opinion. Still wonder if it is possible to start with free blogging site, make initial seed money and then get the domain, host, etc. Any suggestions?

    Of course, you can start making money with Amazon without paying anything for hosting or domain- but I recommend you to buy your own hosting whether you like it or not- this is the first step to take your business serious.

    If you just want to try some methods, use blogger or wordpress free blog. Few months ago I built a free blog with wordpress all including one page with a review on it, and I had good conversions with Amazon!

    HI Iva I found just the thread you need and yes all the techniques are absolutely free like you don't have to pay a dime. Just put in ur time and of course sweat and you'll have the cash to pay for a domain name and hosting down the line. Do add ur own ideas into what has been laid out so. Just Do It.

    You can go the free route but be sure to transfer your blog to your own domain when it starts to generate some sales...blogger and the like have a bad rep for shutting sites down as "spam" when they start to produce a fair amount of sales/income. There are several threads about this here on WF which is why most people are suggesting you just take the plunge and invest in hosting and a domain...
