    HI,

Just better to get things started -- then worry about names. If you need a legal name, go with an .INC. If the brand is more important, give it a MEDIA NAME.

I always focus on the business plan and tend to names after the biz plan is going well.

    Success,
    Sam

Agreed with Sam... get started then worry about brand!

FWIW, you can't say "blah blah INC" if you are not incorporated.

Good luck with your efforts, but get started!

Well guys, thanks for anwsers, i dont really think to crate a brand, register it in registry and/or how this goes, just a cool name to sell under with. Beacuse Inc. sounds like company that need to be registered, pay taxes...if you understand me

BlaBla Group - I think it fits those who are marketing services or a group of services(or people) that are varied and may or may not be related to one another.

Let's say BlaBla Group of Companies.

BlaBla Media - I'd use this if I was aggressively aiming for consumers who are in need of different media services. Print, Video, etc.

Inc. is Incorporated. From what I understand it can be used if a business is made up of several "pieces" and incorporated is its whole. Let's say BlaBla Oil traders and BlaBla Electric are part of Monopoly Inc.

But you don't necessarily need any of those. Think about your business as a whole first.

    What are you offering?
    Who is your market?
How will you execute your launch?

A good business name is memorable and will make the consumer immediately think of your product/s without confusing you for something else.

Good luck with your startup. Let us know once you have settled for a name

Hey, i would mainly selling eBooks on different topics (niches), and maybe selling articles on different topics.

But all those are free, i mean you can get up a name, and add extension (media, inc...), and you dont have to register it as a company and/or pay any taxes or something?

    thanks.

      Hi true900!

A business is a business. Depending where you are located, if your state requires you to pay taxes on dot coms then regardless of what your name will be you will pay taxes. If not then good for you. Are you gonna be using just one site? Will you be using a blog?(That's tax free as far as I know)

BlaBla works is ok. What exactly are you "working" on?
Corporation - again this is more of a legal entity.

If you are selling digital products (eBooks, articles etc.) Media might suit you best.

      Best,

      Kayla

    Hey, thanks again.

I would mostly be selling digital products (ebooks and articles (and maybe something else later..)).

And i think i would have 1 main website where id list all products and a 1 page sale page for each product maybe?

Im not sure about state requrements here.

    Thanks.

Hey, thanks for anwser. I really like works or media and also inc but i wouldnt like co crate whole brand and everything, just a good name to create respective "brand".

Also what you mean by im breaking laws now?

    Thanks,

    @true900

I think Ken may be referring to state laws. Again it would be best to check if you are allowed a dot com business to be registered in your state w/ or w/o taxes.

Hello true900. I like Bla Bla Group the best. How about Bla Bla Marketing? Make sure the name has a "good keyword(s)" in it. Pick your products or services first...then worry about the name.

Inc. is not just an add-on to a company name, but a representation to the public of a legal company standing.

Adding Inc. when you are not incorporated could come back to bite you in the future. Personally, I would not do it.

    Hello True 900,

According to the advices that I have seen in this marvellous forum, the better thing that you can do is to work, the rest is employed and to be employed at your project already you will do it on the march.

Regards and a lot of luck

INC would be good since Media is more on media type and GROUP is more like on bands and other personality or celebrities. So Good luck in choosing.

Inc. should be registered with the state before use.

While it does make you sound more professional as stated by others, it also makes you sound more corporate and your customers less important.

Have you tried to get support from Google Inc. recently?

    Point made.

Hey, so you are saying that i need to register inc? Also you are saying its not best for costumers with Inc. Do you know about other extensions? Or you know some without needed anything.

      Thanks.

He says that if it's INC, sounds more corporate = important are the people that are in the business and not the customers(..and your customers less important - how tpw said)
Think first at the business plan and think about the names later.(my opinion)

    Good luck mate!

well for free and no registration means that you cant use any of the ones that you gave as an option because does do require it. either way from what your selling i would go for BlaBla Media.
