First product Launched

Hi Guys,

I have officially launched my first product. It's the top URL in my sig. Obviously it doesn't target IMers so perhaps some of you may miss the value and sales potential this item could have.

Its a very niche product with a short shelf life, but has the potential to makes a whole lot of money in a very short period of time. I already have related niche sites placing banners up on their sites after contacting them directly. Hoping it goes well and CB doesn't mess up.

Any feedback on my sales page and/or product idea is greatly appreciated. Oh also, any feedback I can get on my banners under the affiliate link would be great.

Thanks

Is that what everyone is watching on TV. You better call NORAD, they want to talk to you.

Interesting Note..... I am one page 1 spot 5 for an excellent keyword. What tool can you use to see how your page ranks. ie; put in my URL and it says "Your page ranks ## for key word ###"

      Hey FloridaKash!
I took a look at your site and i think it's a good start!
If i can give you my opinion i will make graphics more "killer","attractive".
For example i will transform banner and footer in something more "vivid" using professional pictures, and will make your title and subtitle more attractive(in photoshop with the right colors and fonts!)

      But anyway i like it!

    FloridaKash,

The only thing I don't like very much is the loading time.

The images loads very slowly. That might be a problem for your visitors. Just thought I would let you know

    Anyway, congratulations!

I would have to agree that the page took a while to load. The other thing to me was the pricing, have you tested the pricing to come up with the price point of $27? It's just my gut feeling, but to me I would think you would sell more at a lower price than at the $27. The whole point is for these people to Save Money, they would be spending $27 to learn how to save money on shopping for one day. It just seems like you may have a lot higher conversion rate at a lower price point, but you would need to test to know for sure.

Did load a bit slowly for me as well.

My other two cents is that it's a short and sweet page - not much convincing going on.

You go from a little pitch to a testimonial and then WHAM! here's the bonuses...

    Do non-IM people "get" bonuses?

I would at least give a little more convincing after the testimonials before the bonuses.

Good luck with your upcoming busy season!

Yeah, I am not sure what's with the slow loading times... probably my cheapo server. I haven't tested the price point of $27. I picked $27 thinking it sounded like a price that is low enough where it is not a lot of cash to put out yet no so cheap that it seems like its probably a junk product.

Not sure how to test my price point since I only have 17 days to move as many copies as possible. Unfortunately I do not have a product to compare this to. Also, since I will be relying on affiliate marketing to move this product I wanted to make sure there was decent commissions available for my marketers. The commission rate is at 50% right now making their commission $12.48 on each sale. Thoughts?

More convincing... noted. I have no idea if non IM people get bonuses, but I figured providing them would give the customers perceived extra value. Kind of like infomercials always giving you something for free. Tonight I am focusing on having traffic driven to the site. Let's see how many visitors I can drum up by not sleeping tonight. We shall see.

      Thanks

"We" got the idea of offering bonuses from non-IM people. Think infomercials. Those Billy Mays ones are classic examples...they had proof, scarcity, bonuses...the works

FloridaKash, here are a few things I noticed after a quick glance of your site:

-the header graphic is humongous...too humongous
-get rid of the fake scarcity (the offer isn't disappearing)
-the bonuses don't seem to complement the main offer
-the testimonials are not credible. You should use their full names.
-get rid of the ginormous ebook graphic above the buy now button (or make it much smaller)
-shrink the buy now button to make it less obnoxious
-I would strengthen the wording of your guarantee...it's a little vague
-IMO, it wouldn't be practical to hire a pro copywriter to write you some new copy, so what I'd do would be to hire one to critique your existing copy (it's pretty weak)
-get rid of the strikethroughs of the "old" prices

      And for your affiliate page:

-get rid of the ridiculous headline...it's a turn-off
-get some swipes written (don't do them yourself...no offense)
-have an opt-in form for affiliates (so you can update them, motivate them, reward them, etc.)
-this one's me being nitpicky, but change "urcbidhere" to something like "yourcbidhere" or simply "XXXXX" with accompanying instructions.
