Need a particular (custom?) Wordpress Theme

INTERNET MARKETING

I know this probably belongs in the Offline thread, but, I know this will get greater visibility, and, more potential responses.

I need a wordpress theme that is related to the Construction (specifically homebuilding) niche.

Any suggestions? I'd like to find an inexpensive (better - free) template, but, if I need one custom made.....where is a good, inexpensive source for that?

Hi Jeremy,

You can easily make any theme fitting with the niche you are working in by making changes like another header, or color changes, or whatever. That said, you could do a search for "Wordpress theme construction" (this one came up for example: Construction WP Theme | WordPress Themes | free wordpress theme downloads).

I need a wordpress theme that is related to the Construction (specifically homebuilding) niche.

Doesn't really say much. Does this mean you want a big picture of a bull dozer at the top of the page?

You need to think about what layout you want, what features you need etc...

Is this for a business, will it need specialized contact features or is it a construction related MFA site and needs lots of adsense spots, I could go on and on.

Just about any WP theme can be used for any niche but not every theme is going to work for ever site... if you get what I'm saying.

More specifically - here is what I am doing.

I am wanting to create a website for a construction business using wordpress. I know a very little (how to post, how to edit, how to add pages) but don't know much extra. I certainly struggle with creating something good/creative.

Is that something you can help in? I don't have a logo or design, and, want to create something basically from scratch. While looking good will be great, I also want something that I can easily do marketing/SEO/edits on easily so it ranks higher in Google.

I want this page to have multiple facets - one for the main business, construction, and, 2 others - architecture and financing/mortgage. It is my intent to have a "one stop shop" so someone can go to this site, and, do everything with building a house, from getting house plans designed or edited, getting financing, and getting it built.

To get higher page rank, I am going to give free reports related to each category.
