Do all WSO's have to be IM related products?

Ive noticed all the WSO's that Ive seen at least are IM related. traffic generators, seo tools, templates, and oh, of course, many "ninja" stratagies, haha.

Im wondering if all wso's have to be IM related or can they be in different niches, like real estate or weight loss or whatever??

:confused::confused:

They don't "have" to be in the IM niche, but since this is an IM related forum that is what sells the most here. There are many people here who are in niches outside of the make money online niche and may be interested in your offer.

The best advice I can offer is to try it and do your own testing.

Since this is a forum for internet marketers... would it make any sense to market to them something else than IM related products? (except PLR material, which is also IM tool...)

      Istvan I totally agree.

I'm one of a select few who kept away from selling make money online products until I'd made money online. I have niches in quite a few places but none here. I want to create something make money onliney as I have now achieved that. My point though was as the make money niche is what everyone is advised not to start in I was thinking maybe packages in pre researched niches that you could sell PLR to newbs with a site, articles etc and a blue print on how to make money with it, like a earn and learn thing. Sell them reasonably easy to conquer niches to learn in.

Having said that...thats still an IM product on an IM forum I guess. Which incidentally is exactly your point on PLR above.

Oh well. It sounded good when I started.

You can try to post that, but who's going to buy? I mean ultimately, this is an IM-related forum.

Of course, you can sell plr or content that's related to different niches. If the demand is there, then people would buy from you.

But if you're launching a product which has nothing to do with business or IM related or money related, that would be a risky thing to do, IMHO..

I hope this make some sense.

You are not likely to get many buyers of non IM related products here in the wso section.

An IM forum has Internet Marketers who visit the wso section to find out about IM services they can utilise, offers that may improve their business etc etc.

If you offer 'other' niche products you are advertising using a shotgun approach without any real targetting and just hoping that someone here may be interetsted in what you have to offer.

And as Istan mentioned above, if you are offering plr content in other 'niches' you will likely get buyers as it then becomes an IM product offering.

Selling non IM products might do alright if you sell them as PLR, for example weight loss products, golf etc with PLR could be a real money maker.

No! all WSO don't need to be related to IM. You can run a WSO on any niche outside of IM. In fact, if you are new, you should stay away from creating products related to IM. You'll have hard times selling those.

mixed feedback, yes I am new to IM, lol, certainly not going to be releasing any IM products, and I think my product could be a PLR, but i just recently found out what PLR means, haha, so I'll just stick with what I know and thats real estate and short sales. Just wondered, won't hurt to offer it to other warriors, everyone here is entrepreneurs and likes making money, so...we'll see! thanks for the feedback

If you just have $40 to waste go ahead and give it a shot.

But, you might consider that one of the major tenets of
successful marketing is matching the message to the market.
What you're doing is akin to looking for the proverbial needle
      in a haystack.

Sure... there might be a few forum members who have an
interest in real estate investing but wouldn't you be likely to
find far more of them on a real estate forum?

      Anyway... do as you like!

There are some WSOs not directly related to the actual proit-generating activities of IM, but more related to working at home and building a business. e.g. productivity tools, learning how to change your mindset and so on. Of course, these are still indirectly related to the world of IM. Anything not related, I should imagine, just wouldn't get as good a reception here in a forum of marketers. Sure, we all have hobbies, but it's far less obvious whether there will be a captive audience for other niche markets as there is for IM.

About PLR - yes you can sell a variety of PLR topics that aren't related to IM. But the product itself - a PLR pack - is still an IM product. That appeals directly to IMers

Didn't realize it was 40 bucks, lol. Also, one of the reasons I posed the question was I got an email from a guy inquiring about the product and my site, but he is overseas and wanted to know if i could be implemented there. I doubt ill be listing it here, I gotta get it finalized first!

also, I noticed ALOT of warriors are outside the us? is this or was this primarily started in canada or the uk or something? many people seem to be from foreign countries, from what I can see at least.

Even though they are IM WSO you can always use strategies in real estate as many of these WSO show how to gain more traffic which every business needs.

Well, this is an IM forum, so most products will be like this. That's what the market wants, after all.

I guess the best way is to test your niche on the WSO...But I since this is an IM related forum, it make sense to have majority of the WSO to be IM related.

now that I really think about it, that is ONE element that is missing from my product! I need to incorporate an "online marketing/promo" section to my product. maybe I can partner with someone that has a product and include it as bonus with mine or something. Basically as an entrepreneur RE investor, you need DEALS AND LEADS! so other than direct mail marketing templates, I need to include some ninja-like marketing methods, or how to set up your website, etc. wow, i love this forum!
