too many backlinks...I need some advice please

No need to be worried. The blog probably has a list of latest comments in it's sidebar and yours may still be there. When a link is in a blog sidebar it is a sitewide link and stats will show a link for every page when in fact only one link for that blog counts in Googles eyes.

thanks for the quick reply Patricia, I was really worried, I'll keep working on the site then, one more thing, are they ever gonna stop or im gonna keep getting this backlinks all the time?

If you are getting the backlinks because your comment is still on the blog sidebar then the high amount should stop when other comments knock it off, but it really doesn't matter as far as Google is concerned.

You've got nothing to worry about lui74. Google is well aware of "recent comments" and top commentator plugins on blogs and handles them accordingly.

There can be, if you get a whole bunch at once. The goal with link-building is to be natural. If, all of a sudden, you got thousands of backlinks in 1 day, it can raise some red flags because it doesn't look natural. Although in the OP's case, it seems like there is a legitimate reason for the surge, so it's fine.

BUT many viral links/sites get a TON of backlinks suddenly. That is still not an indicator. I think it might be suspicious if they get tons of links fast and then get no additional backlinks later on.

True. Consistency also plays a factor. If you're routinely getting 5 or 10 links a day, and then it skyrockets to a few hundred or a few thousand one day, and then you're suddenly back to only a couple a day, it can definitely look fishy.
