NEXT STEPS... Need initial startup money.

Hi Warriors.

Since I joined this forum a couple of weeks ago, I've learned a lot, and I mean - a lot! It is amazing to see that people here are truly trying to help each other, and it's a fantastic community to be a part of. Just by asking a few questions, I am pretty much decided on what I should be doing to start a successful (hope!) internet business. I've been advised that if I want to promote products as an affiliate, I must have my one web site (domain plus hosting), and after thinking about it, I totally agree with this strategy. It is the most flexible way to promote products in a long run. Here comes my question.
I would like to find the fastest and most efficient way to make this seed money to pay for a host/domain and probably some WordPress plugins. What would you recommend I should do.

    Take a look at the WSO's and see if something FREE there strikes your fancy...

    You can also start with a Web2.0 property or blogger account.

    What's your core skill? Most of us, if not all, is good at something. It might be writing, creating graphics - you name it. Just identify what it is you are good at and scour the wanted section of this forum.

    I definitely recommend having your own website for affiliate marketing, preferably several, but start with one just to get things moving and if you are on a budget. If you are looking for 'seed' money as you say to pay for hosting and a domain it won't take very much. Both of those are fairly cheap to get.

    You could offer a service in the Warriors For Hire section such as article writing and that should easily get you the start up money to pay for hosting and a domain. You can also find work at some of the freelancing sites like Freelancer, etc. Offering a service for start up costs isn't the most fun thing necessarily but it's fast.

    Another thing you may want to look into is a small product creation...

    If you can do the research, writing and some audio and video files, you could very well create something of value. Just research for some niche or micro-niche that buys.

      great advise about product creation and will definitely consider it in the future. At this point I am still not sure how to market it, how to process payments, etc. Still need to do some homework on this one.
