Keyword Experts Please help!

I am a complete newbie and of course i am expected as a newbie to be foolish. I have read so much about keyword research on this forum and i went out to test. I found this and i thought i found a goldmine. could this be true?
I used google keyword tool to search for cure and i found this keyword with 3600global and 2400 local. the keyword is "neuroblastoma in children". I googled it in quote and found "24,600" pages. when i search using "cure neuroblastoma in children", there was only one competing page.
Now, do you guys think i have found a goldmine? Is that keyword profitable cos I saw some adword ads so i assume people are searching for it. PLease give me your advice.
