How To Analyze Adwords To Find A Niche?

If I could find out which adwords adds in my niche were popping up on Google for months in a row, I would find myself an add that was making money.

Then I could use that person's idea to help me come up with my own.

My question is - are there any programs out there that pull records on adwords that have been up for a long time? Or will I just have to do this manually?

Thanks in advance.

I believe you are looking for the tool "SpyFu". It should do what you want it to (I've never used it, but heard good things).

Brad Callen also has a tool as well, but I don't know how good it is. It's at: http://www.ppcwebspy.com/

Take care if you go down that route because just because an ad is running regularly or all the time doesn't mean that it's making much profit.

In fact, companies will often run ads and are prepared to take a loss to start with as long as they have a good sales process in place that will make it worth their while later.

      Thanks eiilers, may consider spyfu.

NeilC: yeh, I know. Big corporations waste millions on UNTESTED ads. I'll try and be intelligent with the way I deal with the data. Thanks for the warning though
