What the Heck are You Doing?

I am curious what your sales funnel looks like, do you have someone opt in and then take them to a thank you page. Or do you take them right to your squeeze page?

I am trying to find the best way, and I thought I would ask someone who has tested this. What are your thoughts on this subject?

    Start off with a squeeze page where they get access to a valuable freebie in exchange for their email address. Lots of people overlook the freebie but I think it is the most important part. If the freebie is good then they will be a lot more likely to buy from you later on.

    After the freebie, have a thank you page and then have them directed to a OTO. Keep it low priced just to see if there is money in your new subscribers.

    If you plan to email them 3 times a week then tell them up front. Don't say things like 'don't worry, I won't spam'. It is better to be specific in my experience so they know exactly how many emails they are going to get. Some people think 3 emails a week is spam so at least if you tell them the number up front you won't get people unsubscribing because they think you email too much!

    Wait at least a week or two after they subscribe before you try to sell them anything else. Send them something with value in the mean time that is related to your product - maybe some sample pages from your ebook.

    That is what I find works best but I guess everyone is different

      Thanks for your feedback that really helps out. Has anyone done squeeze page to sales page and had any results with it. By results I mean engaged leads who by then and later.

        I tested it and at least in my experience it didn't convert very well, plus some people got irritated and unsubbed. However, Having Squeeze page> Confirmation page > Thank you page/OTO converts very well for me, I just keep the OTO below $20
