First off I'd like to say that I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question.

Here goes... In Micro Niche Finder I'm trying to get the SOC stat and Google is giving me the block. It began yesterday around 11pm and here I am at 6:16 the next day still getting blocked. I've reset my computer, reset my internet connection, restarted MNF, and still nothing. Does anyone have any advice to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I haven't had this happen to me. After getting kicked out of Google, I just wait an hour or so and it's all good again. I'm using MNF now and it's working fine. Are you getting a capshaw? Could there be something preventing the popup window from opening so you can type in the capshaw? Can you do the same search manually in a browser to see if you're ip address is really blocked?

Try clearing your cookies then running MNF again, it might help.

I think History issue exists as discussed by other members so try removing cookies and clearing your cache. Thanks

I get this from being too aggressive on market samurai every now wnd then, too, lol.

Normally I do nothing and it will go away until the next day.

If you still need google results manually for something (like when you're actually searching for something normally yourself - what a concept haha), use scroogle.org
They will give you neutral google rankings. Meaning without personal preferences they have saved about you

Not getting a CAPCHA. I'm working on my 3rd day of being blocked.

Cleared my cookies and restarted MNF. No go. Are there any options within MNF that can clear cookies or anything like that?

I guess scroogle.org will have to do for now. 3 days of the SOC being blocked. Nothing else is blocked, though, just SOC.

I seem to recall that when I had that problem I had to clear cookies in IE, even though my default browser is Firefox.

Tried this, no luck. Uninstalled and reinstalled MNF, no luck.

UPDATE: I cut off my wireless connection and ran a cable from my modem to my computer to get a new IP. SOC now works. So, the trick now is going to be getting a new IP for my wireless connection. I've been trying but had no luck getting it changed... even using ipconfig.

Finally got it working. I had to go into my router and clone my MAC address to get a new IP for my wireless connection. Pain in the ass to figure out such a simple trick. Thanks to everyone for the input and help.

Does anyone know why this happened and/or how to prevent it?
