How To......Create a Members Only area within a Forum aka the War Room?

First of thanks to Owen Smith and Charles Burke for their responses...
I have made contact with a Forum Owner, I have suggested that we could co create a Members Only section and upgrade a percentage of existing members and create a cash flow for both of us....

So can you create like a whole new forum in the sub group give it all the content?:confused:

    I use SMF and the process is simple. You create different groups and
    each member is designated as having access to whatever groups you
    allow them. So... let's say I create a group called "private." When a
    new member joins I just check the box next to the "private" group to allow
    them access.
