Need help with wordpress installation

Hi everyone,

Am new here, not sure if I am posting in the wrong thread, sorry if I did!

I am in need of help of wordpress installation. I have a running website (blog), which is installed in the main domain. Let me call it abc.com

Next, I want to install another website (also a blog), i will call this 123.com. I added on a subdomain for 123.com and went on to install wordpress using Fantastico in cpanel. However, I stupidly chose the wrong domain and installed 123.com under abc.com instead. now the instructions is to ask me to log in to abc.com/wp-admin

May I know what will happen to my abc.com now? It still can be accessed. but what happened to my original wp-admin? does it mean I can't login to post new posts anymore for abc.com?

Thank u for helping!

try logging back into fantastico, you may be able to delete the installation, and thus reverting back to the old Wordpress installation.

    Hope that helps

If you didn't take a back up of your original site your hosting provider may have.

If they have a back up you can just delete everything and ask them to restore your site from the last date before you did the second installation.

(And be sure to take backups in the future!)

    Cheers,

    Martin.
