Question for you internet marketing geniuses:

Ignore exact match keywords and low competition and all that jazz for a minute. What do you think are the absolute hottest niches, with the most hungry, desperate buyers? And as a follow-up question, if you HAD to break into one of these niches, what would you do to try and stand out among the HUGE competition?

So far my list includes:

Weight Loss
Muscle Building
Seduction
Making money online

What are some others? I'm not trying to be the next P90X guy, I'm just curious and thought it would be fun to ask.

    Of course, I can't believe I missed that one. It's easy for me to think about the ones that have actually interested me at one time or another, but harder to think of ones I could care less about.

        i think another hot niches are videogames,i mean writing guides on the secrets,how to solve levels, best strategies,ecc. and "Self Improvement"

        TheSteve, about the competition i would dig and dig deeper trying to find a subniche or better a mcroniche!

    In addition to seduction, I think the relationship niche is also red hot, i.e. getting back your ex, how to discover if your spouse/significant other is cheating on you, etc.

      but seriously, let's not forget about every related to finance. Debt relief, loans, and probably the biggest would be anything related to home foreclosure.

      People get in absolute panic when they can't pay their bills, or worse are afraid of loosing their way of life. This is a very desperate niche.

    if you think about they are all related topics , beauty / we all want to look good, / tone up up our muscles / to do that we may need to loose weight / and when we are are looking good we all need a $ in iin our sky rocket / and seduce or be seduced / maybe cover them all in a funny way. ?

    / then we let ourselves go a little we become fudgy and out dated so we start again with beauty / we need a make over some new togs / loose some more weight / we get frisky again.

      I actually really like this idea. The site would be education disguised as entertainment. You could monetize it by throwing a recommended product at the bottom of each post/article and having an all inclusive ebook, the hilarious holy grail of self improvement. The only matter of success would be quality of execution. I love it.
