Simple or Complicated?

Hey Warriors,

I have a quick question for all of you!

If I said there were two ways of making money online. One system is simple and the other one is complicated.

If you learn the complicated system you'll probably make more moolah however it takes longer to learn.

Now, with the simple system you could probably be up and running this very second.

Which system would you Choose? reply with a "simple" or "complicated"

Cheers!

C

In case you're wondering why I asked... The reason is, I want to share my system with a group of total newbies and basically take them from zero to hero in a few weeks. (and yes, there's hardwork involved) no (autopilot income).

I'm just trying to understand the best way to deliver the content.

        Cheers!

If you're targeting newbies, I'd definitely recommend making it as simple as possible. This will reduce the number of excuses they'll inevitably make for not being able to follow through with your system!

You're right, I think simple systems are easy to follow and people love them in general.

I have a lot of advanced stuff that I've used over a period of time which I want to share but I don't want to give them an information overload.

They won't be total newbies. I guess it's really how one classifies a newbie.

I know several people who don't call themselves newbies but have never generated a single dollar online.

            Cheers!

You can go either way--it depends more on what is the right fit for that audience. Then I saw you added this:

Definitely simple. You want newbies to take action and get some sort of result asap. Any complicated concepts can be introduced gradually, especially as their confidence increases.

This makes a lot of sense.

I would start with the simple plan, learn it, then hire someone else to do it for 1/3 of the profit per sale. If the widget's profit is a dollar then I'd pay .33 for someone to run the machine and I would be paid .66 from every sale to learn the more complicated method. Once I learned the more complicated method I would do the same thing to remove myself if possible.

I think that when you have the option to chose from a complicated thing to do and one simple, is to see in the complicated way if I can solve the future problems or make a back-up plan if something fails. If not, then I go for the simple one.
    Do what you feel.
    Good luck!

If it's simple, fast and cheap it doesn't work.

    I'd go with complicated.

...with "probably" being the important word.

While I do prefer the "complicated" approach myself, it's important to remember that there are no guarantees of success. Spending weeks, months or even years on something with no guarantee of success is not for the faint-hearted.

    Cheers,

Absolutely agree. I do believe that in order to succeed online one needs to learn the hedgehog concept.

Sometimes, the simple system is the most complex. But, usually, the complex system can be broken down into a bunch of simple tasks.

Of course, if each of those simple tasks is itself complex, then the complex system, while simple, becomes even more complicated than originally expected.

Yet, the very simple system can become more complex than you ever imagined too.

So, you're really stuck with a choice between two complex systems.

At which point, the best solution is to take a nap.

I choose the simple option that makes me money in the short term AND the long term. Point being, just because it's complicated it doesn't mean it will make you money, and just because it's simple it doesn't mean it can't make money in the long run.
