to all you audio experts....

you've seen/heard the videos andy jenkins does.

i'm pretty sure he did the video for the new link liberation sales video too (looks like his style)

anyone know how to get your audio sounding the way he does?

seems like it's deeper or something than when you record normally. gotta be some settings in the audio app.

I have a nice seinheiser (sp?) headset/mic but it doesn't sound as good as just recording straight into the mic.

i also have a usb mic (forgot the name but its a pro model)

and neither sound as good as just recording straight into my macbook

suggestions? tips?

    Hi Dave,

    I use Soundforge for digital editing. After you have recorded yourself, add some compression to your voice, and EQ it if necessary. Many people boost the bass on their voice and I expect that is what you are hearing. Also do not forget to use a pop shield, as this get rid of pops and also deepens the tone.

    You will also get more resonance if the mic is
    placed along the jawbone rather than near the mouth.
