The CPC doesn't add up. I can believe that people who are losing their jobs are becoming desperate, yes.... but as an affiliate you shouldn't be paying only $0.41 a click for an unoptimized "make money online" ad. And a 6.x conversion rate is VERY good. Too good.

A big red button that says "Click Here For More Info" with NO pre-sell? Hmmm.

I am not selling you an ebook or course to send you a screenshot of my results. I was just sharing a test result I will no longer use because I am not a big PPC spender and I make much more than that with my organic traffic.

You can either take the advice or leave it. Call it shenanigans or whatever you like, I really don't care what you think.

Nobody said you were trying to sell an ebook. To say that a campaign generated over $700 of pure profit per day and you abandoned it is pure nonsense. You don't need to show me a screenshot of earnings to say that if you are telling the truth then you also are completely devoid of common sense. There is no reason for you to stop this campaign. That is why people don't believe you. Also, I have tried selling similar programs with a fraction of the conversions you claim. My pages are highly optimized. Because of the conversion ratio, I just barely break even. That's why I abandon campaigns.

He has a timely ad...people want to buy a solution.

A good product with a good sales page

He has a good landing page that google likes. Good quality score = low click prices...at least for a while....a few days. Then when you get slapped you move on with a new setup.

He has the cahunas to play with google adwords.

Must confess I think there is a large dose of Blarney in re-cycle's post, but there are quite a few Warriors who seem to think otherwise. Are they putting their money where their mouth is. I wonder?

I'd be interested in hearing from other Warriors who are trying this technique and learn whether they made money or not. That would give us a good idea of whether re-cycle is BS or not!

Either way - you can at least take the basic formula for a way to make $:

People pay for a solution to a painful problem.

Create a greased slide directly to the solution they desperately need.

And a certain percentage of them are going to jump on it - especially if the copy is hot.

Savvy ppc'rs know how to make this work...

Ask yourself this: Would you rather have hope or the truth?

I would opt for the latter if given this choice. You have said yourself that you are a "newbie". I'd like to welcome you to the forum, the industry and the community that we work and exist in. However, I'd also like to say the following:

There have been MANY people come on this forum and "giveaway" some information for free. This generosity some times has an ulterior motive behind it. For example, a person might be trying to create a good reputation for themselves in the run up to them releasing a product. And some times the information they give is not true, but is designed to give newbies HOPE.

These newbies with hearts and minds full of hope flock to the product on offer from the person and gratefully whip out their credit cards ready to buy from the generous poster and forum member. This is how a lot of people lose their money and never get anywhere in Internet Marketing.

Lots of scammers, thieves and spammers use the above techniques described, so sometimes a little due diligence and scrutiny is needed when bold claims such as the one being claimed in this post are made. Typically, whenever I see experienced marketers and warriors applying some scrutiny I like to stay quiet, let them do their thing and then decide on what I think.

The people in this thread are not out to be negative, or to stop people making money, but they are PROTECTING newbies from making bad decisions or getting bad advice.

Lets take this thread as an example:

The poster claims some incredible results. Some of the stats are truly out of the ordinary and there are a lot of people on this forum who do PPC and know that not all the numbers displayed here are typical.

Secondly, the topic is paid per click marketing. This is an area where you can literally lose your house if you don't know what you're doing and take bad advice.

Now, just because what the poster says is incredible doesn't mean it isn't possible, but the poster is also not prepared to post any evidence of what he claims, which would be prudent in circumstances where such big claims are made in such a controversial area of marketing, so in light of this we have to decide for ourselves what is more likely; that the poster achieved this, or decided just to post an incredible and controversial post to boost their reputation?

As a new person to this industry, if you see the original post, act on the advice and expect to see similar results, you are going to LOSE money. So when other warriors question it, they are looking out for YOU.

When we see incredible posts like this, or see big claims, we should always critically analyze these sorts of things for our own good and part of that is to ask questions, its perfectly valid ESPECIALLY when the poster posted a thread in a public forum like this. If you post, you're not always going to get good reactions. 100% positive feedback would be the product of blind ignorance and thats a dangerous thing when people's hopes, dreams and money are on the line.

Usually, if the poster is able to answer all the questions put to them, and/or can provide evidence, then generally speaking thats a good thread which does genuinely give solid hope to ALL reading it. There are many genuine and sincere threads here that will give you all the advice and hope you need. If you really need hope, message me and I might be able to post you some of my fave's from my bookmarks.

I hope you understand a bit better now why there is an element of scrutiny and negativity in this post and I hope you and others understand a bit better now why this kind of scrutiny is needed and why it can benefit you in the long run.

I hope recylce's method turns out to be true, and I hope what he says is genuine. If it is, brilliant. If not......well it wouldn't be the first time.

You're right. He doesn't owe anyone anything. Not at all. That wasn't my point.

Giving people hope is fine and its at everyone's discretion to decide whether to believe what is put in front of them.

BUT, where this becomes serious is when some one new goes and tries something like this. With no certainty that it is true or even works, that person stands to lose a lot of money, all because they ignored common sense, failed to question the quality of the information and acted on hope.

This also become an issue if some one presents information like this to establish a reputation and then tries to sell to these hopeful newbies down the line, offering no real value to their customers and lining their pockets with cash.

These things do happen.

I am all for people who want to believe this (and I can't say either way whether the info in this thread is accurate or not) but I get a bit tired of people saying "hey, stop being so negative, its not helpful, you don't have an abundance mindset, you'll never make money". What can appear to be negativity may just be scrutiny, due diligence and sensible considered thought. EVERYONE is entitled to their opinions and thoughts, whether they are right or wrong.

I also get VERY frustrated with thoughtless negativity. Some on this thread have just said "This is bs, it's rubbish, don't listen to it". That kind of comment doesn't help or contribute anything. But there are others in this thread trying to get to the bottom of this for the benefit of themselves and others and they are being flamed for it, which I think is a little short-sighted.

Like I say, if this thread is 100% legit, then cool. If some choose to question it and raise issues thats cool too. Because establishing what is accurate and what is not is going to help a lot of the forum members and some of the dreamers who are present in our number.

And what if you don't have that money to lose but full of hope, thinking you have a workable blueprint? What if that person loses a couple hundred dollars? A couple of hundred dollars that could have fed their family for a couple of weeks? Times are hard right now.

Furthermore, just because you have the experience and sense to stop such an experiment, that doesn't mean hope filled newbies are going to think the same, which is why it is best to apply a bit of common sense to these scenarios.

Acting on bad information is potentially dangerous and damaging, and establishing truth from fiction is no bad thing. Umm yeah, it's great to have hope but when it's based on loose information that will cost you a lot of money trying...only to find out the hard and expensive way that PPC marketing just does NOT work this way, then you'll come back and think differently.

I made $700 profit with just 2 adwords ads and 2 clickbank products.

My Secret: the current recession is making people desperate buyers!
I spent around $125 on each Adwords campaign. (Daily budget was set at $300 for each campaign) and the only 2 keywords I used were the phrase keywords "make money online" and "make money internet".


As you can see, both ads are almost identical except for the 2nd ad (notice the £ gbp sign and "UK" at the end of the title). Both ads display 5 figure amounts, which is very attractive and makes people click. Overall, the 2nd ad performed better as it is a product targeted at the uk specifically, but the US ad did it's job.

I hope this post was useful to some, remember that PPC is dangerous if you don't monitor your campaigns every hour or so.

Do you really want that answered? OK, here goes:

1) It makes the OP feel good to brag.
2) Some people like to post feel good threads because they want affirmation
3) It sets up the OP as an expert in PPC.
4) A really popular thread can eventually lead to a WSO.

Should I go on? I think we all get the point here. $700/day = $21,000/month = $252,000/year. If someone saw $252,000 on the street, wouldn't they be willing to do almost anything to get and keep that cash for themselves? I just don't want the newbies to think that PPC is easy and profitable in highly competitive niches so they try it without knowing the pitfalls and lose their shirts.

really going on here. I would never follow such crap blindly.

However I have re-framed from commenting till there was some proof of this B.S,
otherwise I would have been seen as a negative asshole by half the posters and to
be honest iv'e had enough conflict for one week.
