Hi everybody,

recently I have posted a thread about amazon and PPC for this Christmass.

and after carefully reading your thoughts, I decided today to creade a landing page for Call of Duty Black Ops video game, it is on the bestsellers and I think it should sell well at Christmass.

the landing page link is under my sigature, pls.

Are you sending PPC traffic to this? Or are you generating traffic in some other way?

I think you are using too many "amazon blocks" I would leave text links and have one block that you use on the left side.

I agree, too many Amazon Blocks. You might be better served having one area to list the different gaming consol choices for that version and below those list the other COD games...never know, might get some nice grandparent who hears little Johnny wants COD and decides to get him all of them

I might even list the different game systems too...once again, never know and optimizing the available space with multiple related products could get you more sales across the board instead of just the one.

I do like the look of the site though, very nice!

Have you personally played the game yet? I ask because of the information you present. It looks cut and pasted from a game store like GameStop.
I think the site looks alright. Adding some information from personal game experience could be a good idea, or even interviewing people that have played the game.
One thing I noticed that was left out is the Zombie mode, which is similar (but much more fun) than the Call of Duty: World at War zombie mode.

It looks good I like it and I would buy it from the sales pitch.

Following the given ideas about removing the blocks of games for different consoles... You could get a picture of the PC Cover, and have Text Links beneath for each of the Console Games.
    * Picture*
Xbox (Linked to the XBox game)
    PC (Linked to PC game)
    Etc...

I like the new changes as well you could add a little bit more information especially push the multiplayer feature, that is what is most well known about COD.

Just a head's up, my AdBlock blocked virtually all your Amazon links. You may want to try creating your own.

Personal reaction - make the text bigger. At a certain point, small type is hard for older folks - like well-heeled grandparents - to read. About a 12 point font is good.

The background doesn't fits with the box content.
Personally i recommend you to change it if you want.
Hm...and i think everything look really fine.

My opinion - it's very good. There are a lot of Amazon blocks though and I doubt if you would suffer by taking about half of them out.

I am guessing that you will use PPC?

Make sure to utilize facebook and plentyoffish ads which are a lot cheaper than PPC, and you can target by gender, age, location, education status etc.

I'd run a few campaigns targeting different audiences and stick with the ones converting the best.

Split test without any amazon blocks on the left side and insert game box pictures and text links in the main body. Grab some review snipits from ign.com, gamespot, etc.

I think the site looks good, although I would agree with previous suggestions to include some reviews of the product. I know that people who are likely to buy this game are probably completely familiar with it, but it always helps! Good luck.
