Hey Warriors,

I've tested this out and it works like a charm!

If you haven't heard yet, you need to build an email list. Why?

Targeted Traffic

When you have an email list you can send hundreds of people to a specific website. I've done this for several months. It works especially well when a new Clickbank product comes out. Send an email - make money. Here's how....

1. Get an autoresponder
2. Give away a report - $47 value - maybe 10-15 pages - not too long, not too short.

Here's the key - you need to give away something of great value for free

3. Drive traffic to your site with safe-swaps.com or by doing ad swaps - check out the joint venture forum....

4. Have a One Time Offer after people opt in - $9 to $15 - again, give incredible value for this low price

5. Give, give, give your subscribers more and more

6. 1 time per week you can send a promotional email
This method alone nets me about $1k per month

Cheers,

Bryan

Nothing new but still effective. Sometimes it's nice to be reminded about a basic but solid internet marketing technique. It doesn't have to be a $37 guru secret to be a great strategy.

this sounds great in theory...i mean, i would love to earn $1k per month out of this, guess it depends on giving away that valuable product for free; you have to have something to give away, or else you're stuck at step 2; i might just give it a thought, who knows?

That strategy can generate 10k per month if done right I know that for a fact. But, there is a bigger thing to consider. If you are going to grow your business and list with list swaps you are going to run into a big problem... A very unresponsive, freebie seeking list that is not worth the digital dust it is stored on. I know that for a fact as well. It is not about how big your list is. It is about the quality and relationship you have with that list.

Supernatural_fanThere are so many things you can give away. Have you ever written any articles? Take 5 - 10 articles and package them into a short ebook about whatever the subject is... traffic, article writing, list building, blog building, etc.You could also buy something that allows you to give it away for free.Hope that helps

Just imagine how much more you'd make if you had a list of people that have bought something from you. Paid subscribers are worth 15 times more than your average freebie subscriber.

yeah, actually i did write articles...i still do, i just haven't considered ever turning them into an e-book. it would be awful thought to put a lot of effort into writing an e-book or something else that doesn't grow on people, but i guess it's worth trying; thank you for the tip!

Shannon - you are completely right.

I should expand on this. Yes, list swaps do like freebies, however there are several that buy as well. What you can do is segment your list. To do this you simply have buyers opt in to your buyers list prior to downloading your product that they buy, then they are taken off of the "freebies" list and onto the "buyers list".

How fast does this method usually work building a list?

Also... How effective will the list really be if everyone has marketed their free offer to the same audience ie:this forum?

Just depends on how much traffic you can get to your squeeze page.

When starting out you can write a bunch of articles or you can buy solo ads to get fast traffic and build your list.

I've known that I have to build a list for a long time, but I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. I don't want to have a squeeze page if I don't have any back end offer to promote. Maybe I could go with a CB item... that way I build my list and don't waste any of my PPC credits at the same time

you can certainly do that but there is 1 problem with this way...

after they buy, you can't get them onto your buyers list because it wouldn't be your product that they are buying so you don't really have control after they decide to buy, the product owner does.

It does work though - I have several squeeze pages that lead into a CB product - but for my internet marketing squeeze pages I always use my products as one time offers

For the OTOs, definitely try to develop your own product to sell so that you can get them onto your buyers list in your autoresponder. I'd go easy on the list swaps though, as doing too much of that is going to lead to an unresponsive, predominantly freebie-seeking list.

But through my squeeze page I would have captured their email address, and could then send them to other niche products. Don't you think? Maybe do original product for the entire first week, then switch to similar niche products. That way instead of repaying for PPC all those different times I could get free exposure from a targeted list as long as they last.

All this of course while providing quality content, not just sales pitch.

you can do the same thing with webinars, simply create and give away high value webinars, without any pitches, just pure content and then when people sign up for the webinars, have an OTO.

Yes, I would either do that or just open up a word document and start typing maybe 10 to 15 pages of information and give that away.

    you're welcome
