PHP script developing & marketing -advice needed

We are really interested in taking our new business to a new level and any experience/advice and suggestions would be welcomed. We develop and sell PHP scripts. We did not really know that our business would take off so well in such a short time. However our lack of marketing experience in this field needs to be addressed if we wish to grow as successful company.

We have advertised in market places/forums and Website like hotscripts and others.

But I feel we maybe missing something.

Affiliate selling we are exploring yet don't seem to find any suitable sellers for our products.

I am sure that there must be established companies who can market your product and turn over significant sales.

Yet cant seem to find any. Are we missing something really obvious?

    affiliate program is a great way to get it started, but then you need to recruit affiliates, which is the hard part.

    Would something like clickbank work for your site? they have a huge affiliate database ready to promot you

      Hi tuanng,

      Yes i have looked at clickbank a few times as a possible source for affiliate sales.

      The main problem is our digital delivery of our product. Our product requires licensing. We use PHP encoder for this which makes the delivery impossible as far as I know with clipbank. I Maybe wrong?

      Hi Neil,

      Our niche is viral music search engine scripts mainly. When I say Viral I mean our scripts search Mp3s and allow users to publish players to there profiles on Facebook and Twitter ETC.

      Priced between $29-$45 USD. Not expensive as they are basic in nature.

      Well significant sales to us was over $2000 in the first month of launch.

      This has now driven us to develop more quality scripts.
