The FTC has a lot of rules and little enforcement.

Usually, I read all the legal documents, small print, terms etc... but in this case I will save a lot of time for myself:

To NOT do anything deceptive in my marketing activities I don't need the FTC. The basic moral values taught by my fater are enough. But I know there are many orphans out there...

I think it's a shame that they are needed. I, for one, am so used to "deceptive" bargains, price comparisons etc that I simply don't believe any of them.

Just think of how many Clickbank and other products have pages that permanently tell you the price is reduced from $127 to $37!

Or one recently that claimed his price was going up from $37 to $67 at midnight. Put the price up to $67 for just a few hours and then put it straight back down to $37!

It's a great product and I'm not knocking it (especially since I'm not naming it) but it does have people talking - did he legitimately put the price up but due to low conversions put it back down, or was that his plan all along!!!

I was wondering if that was even legal myself. Some of it is pretty ridiculous really.

Of course, we'll never know for sure, but I have a strong feeling that he wanted to raise the price permanently to $67, but then conversions dropped dramatically and he was forced to drop it down to $37 again.
