Clickbank Hop Count?
On my Clickbank analytics page, I'm showing an outrageous number of Hops from one particular affiliate. My understanding of the Hop Count is that it is the number of times someone has clicked on that affiliates hoplink to my landing page. This would mean that I should have that many hits on my website. But, I'm showing nowhere near that many hits. Google analytics is showing far less visits than the Clickbank Hop Count.
Maybe I don't quite understand what the Hop Count represents. Or, is there some possible way that an affiliate can be getting hops without actually sending people to my site?
If anyone could shed some light on this for me, I'd be greatly appreciative.
