market samurai keyword research not working?

Hi Guys --

I'm just checking out a product called Market Samurai, more specifically the keyword research portion.

I was wondering if anyone else was having an issue where it seems the 'keyword research' part gets stuck in an infinite loop trying to check the Google Traffic Estimator, and/or how you got around that/worked around that?

      Last time I recall that happening was when Google did those changes o their keyword tool, which meant MS had to update the software to adapt to them. There might have been some other change at Google. Drop MS support a line and they will get on it ASAP. They have proven to be excellent at that too in the little time i have been with them as a customer.

    Why using software products? There are plenty of online tools: serpanalytics, google keyword tool and so on.

      Although the free stuff works fine I'm guessing you haven't seen inside MS. It's a great tool and analyses competiton much deeperthan just looking at how many competing pages Google says there are for a keyword phrase. Have you tried it, I'd recommend it.

      For the OP, mines working fine so I agree with the others, contact them and they will help far better than anyone here can.

        Mine is working fine, now. I had the problem of it getting locked in a loop and asking for the captcha form 3 or 4 times in a row. Then it would say that it couldn't find any information.

        I entered my Adwords account information and now it is working fine and giving me 800 words per search.

        I know that Google changed their keyword tool over. Now the Captcha form is built in to the tool instead of being a pop up. I think Brad Callen's group mentioned that created a problem and they were having to rework Keyword Elite.

        MS could be having the same problem.

          Ah yes -- that is exactly it. It keeps asking for the captcha tool, but not just 3-4 times, it will do it 100 times, etc (in other words, doesn't work).

          I guess I will need to send them an e-mail then.

    I noticed this problem with Micro Niche Finder. Google modified their keyword tool, so these software are not able to fetch data from Google Keyword Tool.

    Seems to be working fine for me. Sometimes it's really slow but I think this is just an issue with the internet connection. Place a support ticket. They are usually very responsive.

    I had a different bug over the last few days (inconsistent). When I go to the SEO Competition module it won't pull in the results at all (more than half the time). Other times it's working totally fine.

    I think there is some kind of transitional bug here ... but MS has been awesome and I'm sure they'll fix it if it is a bug.

      I just used it last night for about two hours and everything worked fine.

      Haven't had a problem with it since they updated it for Google's new keyword tool.

      @Digitrendz - James updated his software also (Micro Niche Finder).
      Should be working fine now, at least has been for me.
