outsourcing to Philippines

Hello Warriors,
I need some help with outsourcing. I'm looking to outsource a major programming job ($3000 Budget) for a fairly large project. I know to get the most cost efficient service I've heard philippines is a good place to consider outsourcing.

Can anyone tip me on how I can outsource and find programmers well verse in Php, C+ or any other programming language for a facebook app?

Thanks, I've heard craiglist and going to try it out but prefer to find other options also.

Thanks

Here's an example article he did for me. Works for me!

How to Choose Your Coffee Table

"A coffee table is a very significant furniture at home especially if you love drinking coffee and love the idea of entertaining guests. They can be your centerpiece furniture to your sitting room or just your added convenient furniture in your backyard. They can also be made into a card game table with your buddies or working table around the house. It is just a simple little piece of furniture but its usefulness is so great and aside from that, it can also add aesthetic to your home décor.

When choosing your first coffee table, your first criteria should be to consider the overall internal features of your dining room or the room in which you want to place it so that it will blend well with the personality of its surrounding. For instance, if your room has a classic décor or has Victorian era furniture, you can choose an ornate, curved leg dark wood coffee table to perfect the setting.

If the room is generally themed chic and modern, there are also coffee tables that have lighter features such as those made with white wood, steel and glass pieces. If you are the kind of guy who loves Retro aura with Retro themed room, you can choose a slimmer table with designs of the 70s or 80s prints. So to summarize all of these, your home décor can always be your style guide in finding you perfect coffee table.

Now, when it comes to pre-buying options, don't forget to measure every feature of the table. You should at least seat down on a sofa and measure the height of the table from the floor to the top of your knees. Its your option if you want it an inch higher or less but consider your guests' convenience as well. You must also choose durability and the materials the coffee table is made of and that depends on your habits and lifestyle. If you are a constant coffee drinker, a beer or wine drinker then you can opt for a glass surface coffee table for easy cleaning. Constant placing of wet glasses and cans on top of any coffee table usually leaves rings and scratches on top so a top glass coffee table can be easily cleaned and will not be scratched easily unlike wood top coffee tables."
Wow, that's a really good article for the price you pay. Haha if you ever have any spare time with you freelancer just pm me and I'll pay per article please.
        Thanks

Thanks for the tip. Currently been searching DP and WF for my articles I'm thinking of trying Filipinos after the sample I saw.

Thanks, I currently use freelancer but most are from india and not Filipinos . I've always been told Filipinos is the best place to outsource because of their pricing and also they generally are more loyal supposedly.

Thanks, trying to find my supplier list now. Got quite a few good article writers from india I believe. Their quality is pretty good and $3/500 words but trying to find some back up sources in philippines. For programming I prefer to go with philippines since it's going to be an extensive job.

BTW care to share your programmer list? lol just trying

    Hey Ben,
I wouldnt use CL or backpage, too easy to get scammed. I would set up a team on ODesk if you want to manage the project much easier or use backlinkteam.com which dosent only do backlinks but pretty much everything else as well. BackLink team is a US based company that manages off-shore teams. They will manage your project and get it done on budget. If you want to manage the workers yourself the best bet is ODesk, anything else i would use backlink team. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the help. I'll check those options out. Just curious how much do you pay for writers in the philippines and how good are their articles. I have considered outsourcing writing to philippines aslo but I'm afraid of the quality. I was looking for about 175 articles*500 words and found some great leads but maybe might be a good alternative.

    Hi Humblemarket,

I'm from the PH, and I've started as a linkbuilder. Not that I'm promoting my own countrymen, but you'll be able to get real cheap prices there.

And that's right a $200 / month is a full time work already in the PH, considering the super low cost of living there.

Still, IMHO and experience people that you pay for that amount would either be a newbie cause those who really "knows" there stuff charges more and definitely you'll get what you pay for.

Still, I'd follow Anik Singal's recommendation when starting to outsource and that is to start slowly and just give them small tasks and see what the output is.

I know some great programmers but I'm not sure if what you want is something they could do.

I've been outsourcing to the Philippines for quite some time and all I can say is I'm impressed with their work. They are very professional and they can easily connect with their clients. Very polite and hospitable.

I'd like to recommend Regal Web for their skilled writers, web developers and SEO. tehy also boast of good web hosting service and domain registration. Visit their site in the link below:

Given your budget and what sounds like a one-time project, you may have better luck outsourcing to WHOEVER is best able to do the job, not specifically to the Philippines.

If you're looking for specific Philippines job sites, you'll find oDesk is great for freelancers, while OnlineJobs.ph, BestJobs.ph and OutsourceFactor.com all have great numbers of Filipinos looking for full time jobs.
