Have any of you SOLD a website for what you wanted for it?

Hey guys

I hear a lot about these big money sales on flippa... BUT ... does the normal guy (if there is such a thing) make money selling websites that they have created themselves?

You can make money selling starter websites with no traffic or earnings but the competition on Flippa is extremely high and the margins are ridiculously low. The best way to make money flipping websites is first to have around 90-180 days to promote the website.

Then after promoting it, and having a great track record of growth you then could flip it for big bucks, because these types of websites with proven traffic, earnings, and growth are a lot harder to come by and catch premium prices.

I mean unless you had an emergency need for cash you wouldn't sell an asset like a website which produces passive income month after month would you?

      That's a great question.

I guess it's like property. You can rent a property and make money each month or just sell it and make the cash to invest in something else.

      Hmmmm

Well, a lot of people sell ready made websites too, those that aren't generating every revenue, but they go for much lower prices like ~$25-$60++

Look there is a complete section on WF dedicated to this : Complete Web Sites For Sale! ! You can find some examples over there
