Well, it really depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

Personally I use GetResponse. I used Aweber for years but switched.

Aweber was forcing me to use double opt in when I did not want to use double opt in for my customers.

So, I was forced to switch to GetResponse.

When it comes to deliverability I believe the two services are right on par.

But, Aweber definitely has better statistical capabilities.

So, if you do not care about the lack of stats then I would probably go with GetResponse.

If you are concerned about being able to track things down to the very open, then I would suggest going with Aweber.

Both of those companies are top notch and very affordable.

Once your list becomes massive then you need to probably start looking at some of the bigger e-mail providers.

But for now and for a long time you can manage your list with those two services.

You'll notice some of the big guys using ifferent services, but that is just because they offer more. They are also very expensive.

So, that's my opinion.

Regards,

Shannon Herod

I'm far more interested in running my own script that any rented service. Any suggestions for that?

I'm pretty sure that automateyourlist is Michael Rassmussen's private label version of aweber, so I think that if you join it then you'll have made a good choice.
