Domain help!!!

If i was to sell a domain name that was purchased with godaddy, how do i transfer to the buyer?

Hi there,

If the buyer wants to transfer the domain to a different registrar, you must first UNLOCK the domain name and get the "authorization code". The buyer would then initiate the transfer from their registrar account. You will then receive an email asking you to confirm this transfer.

However, if this is a newly registered domain name (less than 60 days old), the domain cannot be transferred to a different registrar. You can still sell it, but the buyer must have (or create) an account in the same registrar (GoDaddy). You would need to get the buyer's information and then 'push' the domain to their account.

I can't post links yet but go to godaddy and click on support and type in transfer domains. Also send them in a email from there and you will have your answer within a few hours.
