Does a redirected domain gets ranked by Google?

I've got a question. Like 2 months ago I ordered a hostingpackage for a year. For exmaple, the domain was www . apples . com. Now the thing. I've found an other niche, and I only bought an domain, not a host. For example, www . lemmons . com. So what I did. I uploaded the site about lemmons on www . apples.com and redirected my www . lemmons . com to www . apples . com.

My question. When people search for "lemmons", will my site www . lemmons . com show up on Google?

Thanks.

This is an SEO question. SEO takes time to be successful. For now I would focus on getting traffic from articles, videos, etc

Who is your host? Does your host use Cpanel?

My host is a dutch site and it doesn't support Cpanel.

    EDIT:

@IM. Yes I know. First I have to get traffic etc. But i'm almost sure that the domain is enough. Cause the name of my domain are also my keywords and there is almost zero competition. But I have to be sure that it will be ranked on the "keyword-domain" that redirects to my old domain + hosting.

Generally redirected (empty) sites don't rank on Google.

No. If your domain is set up with a redirect of any kind it will not be indexed. Now if there's a landing page that's a different story.

    Hi QWERTY

NO redirect doesn't work for ranking + this way you will confuse Google bot and never get ranked for your "www . apple . com" for lemmons.

This will confuse normal person as well when they see apple site name and lemmon content .

To see solve the problem put content on www . lemmons . com for lemmons and you can also host 2 sites on same hosting account.

If you don't know how to do that , just send ticket to your hosting provider and they will help you.

If the don't do that, change your hosting because in long term you may need to host many domain on 1 hosting account. That time it will be very hard to do.

    Good luck

If your spelling of your keyword is as accurate as your spelling of lemmons.com, I have no doubt there would be little competition.
