I offered a product to two of my non-IM lists. One was a list of buyers and the other a list of folks that signed up for a free download. The product was one that I normally sell for $29. I offered it to the list of buyers for $7 and to the list of freebies for $1.

I received a good amount of purchases from both lists. In fact, it was close to being even. After three weeks, the buyers list had zero refund requests. The freebie list had 11... for a $1 product.

Well Brian, that just serves to illustrate how much more powerful it'd be to have a list of buyers as opposed to freebie seekers aka tire kickers. The freebie seekers typically whine and complain a lot, and give you the most issues.

I'm not sure what you are getting at there ol' Brian boy???

You tryin' to tell me that a buyers list is better than a freebie seeking list?

Man, I thought (much like the size of your...well, you know) the size of your list was all that mattered.

        hahaha, good post.

And my results have been the same in the past. Freebie seeking list is just that - you quickly want to segment the buyers out of the list and fast (preferably as soon as they sign up)

They cannot afford to spend one dollar, but they think they are prepared to run a business?

    Tell me it isn't so...
