Blog Comment Uniqueness

Good afternoon Warriors!

When I post a comment on blogs about the same subject can I use the self same comment time and time again on different blogs or does each comment have to be different as with articles having to be unique every time we post one?

Is this the same in forums?

Regards, Kevin.

You need to make sure that the comment is relevant to the blog posting that you're commenting on. Otherwise, there's a really high chance that it will simply be deleted by the moderator.

Simply saying something like "great post" and putting your link in isn't enough. Or, even if you have canned responses for certain subjects, that's not enough either. If the blog owner feels like you didn't really read the post, and you're just using their site to drop a link, they're never going to approve your comments.

I am with her. Usually when you comment to a blog, there are people who don't really read the blog post and they don't mind about that, usually what they care is to get high PR. So it is important to make sure that your comments are relevant to that post. The common setting for most blogs is that comments are being moderated.

Just ask yourself "Can I add value by saying the same thing over and over again?"

If you find you can, then post what you're saying here, because it's got to be a spectacular phrase...

Let me give you a different perspective on this:

Do you have a blog? (I assume, you have...) Would you like that all the WF members go there and post the same comment on your blog - just linking to different offers they have?

Hi Guys, and thanks for the quick responses. Let me clarify what I'm asking here:

    1. I'm reading the blogs and making individual comments on them as the blogs I post on are relevant to my main blog and I'm leaving a link back to my main blog.

    2. I see similar blogs looking at similar problems and issues and here I cut and paste the response I've given on other blogs which are discussing the same problems - i.e. posting a considered and quality response to the blog content and other comments on that particular blog site.

    3. I read all blogs that I post on and consider if I need to write a totally new comment or not or do I need to modify one of my other comments used on some other blog site or can I just simply post an unaltered comment I've already used on some other blog site and still leave a relevant, quality comment which still adds value on the blog site I've just read?

    4. Unlike with articles there is no need for uniqueness with comments postings as I understand it and so it will not get me slapped in the engines and I'm not likely to annoy anyone as I'm posting considered and quality comments relevant to the blog that I'm posting on and adding quality content which will genuinely help the owner of the blog and the its commentators with the issues they have.

    5. I'm trying to avoid being spammy but also trying to be effective and efficient in what I do.

    Have I got this right?

    Is this a good strategy?

I hope this gives more clarity as to what I'm trying to ask here and I'd be grateful for any further comments.

    Regards, Kevin Walker.
