How To Change Video On Youtube?

I've got a youtube video that I need to make some changes to.

I would just make a new video and upload it and delete the old one but the only problem is that the original is ranking on the first page of google because I've done some major offpage seo.

Is there any way to switch the old video out for a new one without changing the URL of the video?

    In the description of old video, give the link to the updated version

    Don't delete the old one, that's a mistake that too many people make.

    If you notice, many times when you see search results you'll see more than one video listed. I actually think (because I've seen it and caused it to happen many times) is that when a video reaches the first page, if another video is relevant enough (from the keywords in the title, description and especially tags) it will pull that video to the first page as well.

    So just upload your new video and create the same or similar title, description and tags and abdulquddus's suggestion is a good one to direct viewers from the old one to the new one with links in your description but even better you can use the annotations feature to create a link right to your new video.
