Lets answer all the questions involved when it comes to article marketing

Hello everyone. I am looking into doing a lot of article marketing soon using Article Marketing Robot (AMR) for the purpose of building backlinks to sites, not really so much for traffic.

I have been doing a lot of research online and here on this forum about article marketing and using it to specifically build backlinks.

I want to start this thread so we can get all (or lots) of questions that people have about article marketing answered once and for all.

So by what I have been reading:

You can submit the same article to as many directories as you want without being "punished" by Google as this is not not duplicate content. It is syndication, you are syndicating your articles across the web.

Also even if Google didn't list all of the directories that had my same submitted article in the search results (they put the remaining sites in the supplementary index) that wouldn't really matter since I'm using the articles for backlinks, not traffic....Is this right?

Also when submitting articles to many directories should I drip feed them over many days/weeks or just do a mass submit using Article marketing robot or other article submission software? Not all of the links go live anyways right away as some directories have to approve articles before they go live so by doing a mass submission I will still get links that will "drip" in over the course of a few days...Correct????

Please correct me if I am wrong on anything I am saying here too
