Setting preferred domain in GWT question
When trying to set the preferred domain in Google Webmaster Tools to the www version it asks to verify the non www version before it will save.
So it seems you have to add the non www version to GWT, verify it, and then set the preferred domain to the www version.
My question is can you delete the non www version after the changes have gone through?
