typepad vs wordpress

I notice people use typepad here alot, Is that better than wp?

Just pick one and start blogging.

Both have benefits, my choice is always
Wordpress, as is seems to have more tools
to use on it.

And taking action with one is better than
doing nothing

  If you're scouting for a blog platform, I highly recommend you use Wordpress. I have tried using Typepad's free blog and while the interface is great, I still found Wordpress to be more user - friendly. Besides, with the right theme and some kickass plugins, you can turn a Wordpress blog into a business site. It's a very flexible platform and it has a robust developer community too.

  If I were you, I would rather use Wordpress.. Adise from users friendly interface... Their are toons of plug-ins you can use to build you blog into a website...

  C'mon, that's not a reason for using WP... you can copy/paste the analytics code in any webpage!
  
  The possibility to install tons of plugins is not a good idea either. Install only what you need. And most people do NOT need many, btw.
  
  The flexibility of WP and the big developer team - now those are better reasons to go with WP. Plus, the many free themes...

I am currently using wordpress and typepad for my blogs..I think these are the best platform out there to reach audience as well as search engines. I prefer using WordPress as it looks professional, but other platforms are also okay.
