How long ago was it that backlink advertising was banned on Warrior Forum?

So how long ago was it the backlinks advertising was banned in the WSO forum here at WF? Alan seemed to give a reasonable reason for doing that, although many of us didn't agree with him. That was his choice and who can not support his decision, it is his web site.

Anyway, when I came to the site a few minutes ago, I see an advertising bannor at the top of the screen, for backlinks. WTF. What the hell happened?

Have you ever typed the word backlinks into google and noticed the ads that popped up - that they allow?

I did, after a long time member pointed it out to me.

Google isn't anyone's nanny, and the Warrior Forum isn't going to be either...

Mohammad is absolutely correct. I didn't agree with the decision to exclued them Alan, but I supported your choice to make it. I am glad to see that niche of IM'er back here on Warrior Forum. I just didn't know that this had happened. I am probably behind the times as I don't get here as much as I used to. Just too busy with my IM business right now, thankfully. Actually making a few bucks finally. It took me a while, but I finally learned enough from the material offered here to turn it into a little cash. Now I just got to expand and grow it. So it leaves me less time to poor over the forum.
